The word education stems from the Greek word edukos, which means "to bring forth from within." I see my role as an educator as someone who helps bring out the individual strengths, skills and talents within a child. My aim is to create a classroom environment which encourages the intrinsic motivation to be a life-long learner, where pupils have the opportunity to learn through trial and error and are not afraid to make mistakes.
